People told her to “dream smaller” and to stay in her lane’, but Michelle Robinson built her own highway. Her aim wasn’t to just occupy the White House and play the role of First Lady, she wanted to prove that a girl’s destiny wasn’t determined by her skin colour, but by the fire in her heart. Michelle Obama inspired me by proving that staying true to one’s roots isn't just a choice—it’s a superpower. Growing up on the South Side of Chicago, she faced many doubters who told her she didn't "belong" in elite spaces like Princeton or Harvard. Instead of changing to fit in, she embraced her story, reminding me that our culture and background are strengths, not weaknesses.
