Don’t be so brave!

You’re fragile and weak,

A flash of blue in a wilderness of green,

Why are you so brave?

You’re still a flower,

’Tis your bravery that amazes me,

You light up the wall in the midst of gloom,

Why are you so brave?

You’re a spark of violet in a bed of green,

It seems as though you are a queen,

Despite the leaves as your bodyguards,

Why are you so brave?

If you bloom in the storm,

Don’t you know it will snuff out your flame of life?

Around you, I feel a flood of peace,

Oh! Why are you so brave?

Oh, why are you so brave?

Will there ever come a time,

When we meet eye to eye,

On the shores of valour?

Oh, why are you so brave?
