Can I Be Born Again?

My Poem for Helen Keller

My world is dark and silent,

How I long to see my parents,

How I long to learn,

To see, the beauty I shall never be able to,

Nor shall I hear the birds chirp merrily,

Which I would love to,

And see the trees wave,

And yet, I don’t even know

If they are for real.

Can I be born again?

But this time all right!
